Built in Jhelum Since 1978, The Story of Azad Steel Works

Since 1978, Azad Steel Works has been working with steel and metal iron in Jhelum. Over the years, the workshop has made everything from gates, railings and security grilles to staircases, furniture and heavy steel fabrication. It also works with iron melted in its own furnace to make strong, heavy-duty iron products for homes, properties, businesses and other projects.

Over the years, working with metal has brought its own experience. Every project comes with different measurements, designs, and requirements, so the work has never been exactly the same. From shaping and joining heavy pieces to giving each finished product the right fit and finish, the process depends on careful hands and practical experience.

Nearly 50 Years of Steel and Iron Work in Jhelum

Azad Steel Works has worked on different types of metal projects across Jhelum and nearby areas. Over the years, the work has included everything from custom gates and railings to heavier steel fabrication.

The experience comes from working directly with metal, understanding how different materials behave, and making each piece according to the required size and purpose.

Steel and iron work is not only about cutting and welding. The right measurements, proper joining, strong materials, and good finishing all matter when making something that needs to last.

This hands-on experience has helped Azad Steel Works continue its work in Jhelum for many years.

More Than Just Gates and Railings

When people think about a steel workshop, they may first think about gates or grills. These are an important part of the work, but they are not the only things Azad Steel Works makes.

The workshop works on custom iron and steel gates, entrance gates, security doors, window grills, security grilles, and railings. These projects can be made according to the size and requirements of a property.

Steel staircases are another part of the work. Staircases, frames, supports, and other structural metalwork need careful measurements and proper fabrication. The same attention is also used for iron tables, chairs, benches, frames, and other made-to-measure pieces.

This allows customers to have metal work made for their actual space instead of choosing something that does not fit properly.

Heavy Steel Fabrication for Bigger Work

Azad Steel Works also handles heavier steel fabrication work. This includes heavy steel frames, steel plates, steel sections, supports, and other fabrication requirements.
Heavy steel work needs more than basic cutting and welding. The material has to be measured, cut, shaped, joined, and finished correctly for the job.

The workshop also provides steel cutting and welding services as part of the fabrication process. From individual metal parts to larger structures, the work is handled according to the requirements of the project.

For customers who need practical steel fabrication in Jhelum, having different parts of the work handled in one place can make the process easier.

From Furnace to Finished Iron Products

One of the most distinctive parts of Azad Steel Works is its furnace work.

Instead of only working with ready-made metal sections, the workshop also melts iron in its own furnace. The melted metal can then be prepared for casting and shaping into different iron products.

This is a different side of traditional metalworking. It starts with the furnace and continues through shaping, fabrication, finishing, and fitting.

Working with molten iron requires experience and careful handling at every stage. The process also gives the workshop the ability to produce certain heavy iron pieces from the material itself rather than only assembling ready-made sections.

For Azad Steel Works, this furnace-based work is an important part of its history and the way it has continued working with iron in Jhelum.

Making Metal Work for Real Homes and Properties

A large part of steel and iron work is connected to homes and properties.

A gate is not simply an entrance. It can be an important part of the front of a house. Railings need to fit the space correctly. Window grills and security grilles need to be practical. A staircase needs proper measurements and a solid structure.

That is why custom work matters.

Azad Steel Works makes gates, doors, railings, grills, staircases, furniture, and other metal pieces according to the project. Customers can discuss their requirements, measurements, design ideas, and material needs before fabrication begins.

The same approach can also be used for property improvements, repairs, modifications, and larger steel projects.

Local Workshop With Decades of Experience

Being based in Jhelum since 1978 means Azad Steel Works has built its experience around local projects and real customer requirements.

The workshop continues to work with both iron and steel, covering smaller custom jobs as well as heavier fabrication work. The goal is not to make every project look the same. Different properties and projects have different needs, so the metalwork has to be made accordingly.

From custom gate outside the home to heavy steel frame for a larger project, the work starts with understanding what needs to be made and ends with fitting and finishing the finished piece.

The Craft Behind the Metal

The steel industry has changed over the years, and so have designs, tools, and customer expectations. But some things remain important: good measurements, solid fabrication, proper welding, useful designs, and experienced hands.

Today, its work covers custom iron and steel gates, security doors, grilles, railings, staircases, iron furniture, steel frames, steel plates, heavy fabrication, welding, cutting, finishing, fitting, and furnace-based iron work.

After decades of working with metal, Azad Steel Works continues to build its work around the same material it has known for generations: steel and iron.
